- This product involves a combination of 2.5 cubic metres of oak whisky staves and 2.5 cubic metres of loose softwood.
- We sustainably source our softwood locally in the forests of Aberdeenshire.
- The softwood in this combination product has been felled 18 months – 2 years ago so is therefore very well seasoned.
- We processed these logs in spring and have left them to dry naturally for a minimum of 3 months.
- The logs are cut to a standard length of 25cm. This makes sure that they can fit in any stove even smaller ones. If you would like your logs cut longer just let us know.
- We strongly recommend that you store your logs appropriately. They need to be covered in a well-ventilated store.
